Raised on a healthy diet of James Taylor, Eric Clapton, Jackson Browne, Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel, Andrew gravitated toward music at early on, picking up the piano at the age of 5. Though the guitar came long after, things really began to click with the combination of wood and steel, quickly mastering songs in the catalogs of his idols.
Andrew didn’t start writing until college, where he began to fuse modern influences of Matt Nathanson, Ray Lamontagne, Howie Day and Ben Folds with the singer-songwriters of his youth. The results were stellar, crafting honest songs that draw inspiration from personal, friend and family experiences. From there he has been playing concerts, open mics, coffee shops, backyards and bonfires for the better part of a decade, creating live shows that feel more like a conversation with a friend, counterbalancing the weight of his songs with an affable stage presence.
Now, Andrew is mounting his first solo effort, recording an EP due out later this year.
